IATS Welcomes New Dean of Students, Evansville at USI Campus: Cameran Darrett

We are excited to share that Cameran Darrett has joined the Indiana Agriculture & Technology School (IATS) as the Dean of Students at the Evansville at University of Southern Indiana campus, bringing a deep passion for working with students and a lifelong commitment to education.

Cameran has worked with youth since the age of 14, beginning as a youth worker in an after-school program in his neighborhood. Since then, he has supported students in a wide range of roles – from coaching to multiple positions across the educational field – gaining valuable experience working with learners in diverse settings.

He is a graduate of Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Psychology.

“My purpose is to enhance the students’ learning experience, maintain the standard of the environment they’re being educated in, and help bridge any educational gaps to ensure that the students have the best impression of learning,” Cameran shares.

His dedication to student growth, supportive presence, and commitment to educational excellence make him a valuable addition to the IATS community. Please join us in welcoming Cameran Darrett to the team!
