STUDENT ACTIVITIES AT IATS
Explore opportunities to connect, lead, and grow outside the virtual classroom.
FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA (FFA)
IATS is proud to support an active FFA chapter that gives students hands-on leadership experience in agriculture, science, and service. Through FFA, students develop valuable life and career skills, participate in statewide events and competitions, and become part of a legacy of agricultural excellence.
Our FFA students attend leadership conferences, compete in CDEs (Career Development Events), and give back through service projects that benefit their local communities.
4-H
Indiana Agriculture & Technology School is proud to support student involvement in 4-H, a nationwide program that empowers youth through hands-on learning in areas like agriculture, science, health, and civic engagement. With both a national reach and strong local presence, 4-H offers IATS students the chance to grow as leaders, explore their interests, and connect with mentors through school programs, clubs, and community events. Many IATS students participate in 4-H activities across the state, gaining valuable skills and experiences that complement their education.

SCHOOL TRADITIONS & student engagement
From our popular annual float trip at Turkey Run State Park to exciting field trips that bring learning to life, there’s something for everyone. Each spring, students also have the chance to dress up and celebrate at our Semi-Formal Dance, one of the highlights of the school year. These experiences not only build friendships but also create lasting memories beyond the classroom.
